You probably think it won’t happen to you, but there are volunteers who lose their photos (or even lose their phones!) every single semester. Just in case that ends up being you, make sure you know how to back up your photos (for free) before jetting off on any trip.

If you've ever traveled abroad, then you know that food can be both an adventurous blessing and a cravings curse. Even if you love the local cuisines, there comes a point when all you need are the familiar tastes of home. Avoid this problem by bringing these hard-to-find snacks with you!

Are you a going to school at Snow College but want to take a semester off to volunteer with ILP? You might be able to still get school credit for your time abroad. Here's some helpful info to consider + how to get the process started.

I'm definitely on board with and love the bleaching trend right now. And turns out my ILP sweatshirt hanging in my closet was the perfect piece to do it with.
If you ask me, the hardest part of any semester is the first week, and that includes the first few days of teaching. But if I (someone who's never taught before) survived it, you will too.
