I love volunteering with International Language Programs (ILP), but that doesn't mean it was always easy to live abroad!

Making friends isn't always easy but it's a smidge easier when volunteering abroad. 

You may not realize it, but by volunteering abroad, you will impact the lives of many people (and make a difference) in more ways than one. Take it from Macie whose Polaroid camera made an unexpected difference.

While they are spending a semester abroad with ILP, some of our volunteers want to know how they can participate in their church meetings and other religious events ... even if the language or culture is unfamiliar. 

Meet Cammy! She is an amazing ILP Head Teacher who went to Romania in Summer of 2015. But that's not the only reason she is so awesome. The story of how she came to be a Head Teacher in Romania is pretty unique.

Going to church in a foreign country is a fascinating, fun ... but honestly also pretty challenging. Some countries will have English-speaking wards or branches, but what do you do if your ward or branch doesn't speak English?
