The fact that I've lived in Asia still sounds completely surreal to me. Never did I grow up thinking, I really want to go fall in love with this part of the world, but something pulled me to it. I went, and now I can't ever imagine not going there because some of my most favorite places in the world are there.

To those who say traveling sounds fun, but it's just too expensive. To those who say I can't take time away from school. To those who say it's not safe enough to travel ... hear me out.

Making friends isn't always easy but it's a smidge easier when volunteering abroad.

While they are spending a semester abroad with ILP, some of our volunteers want to know how they can participate in their church meetings and other religious events ... even if the language or culture is unfamiliar. 

Meet Cammy! She is an amazing ILP Head Teacher who went to Romania in Summer of 2015. But that's not the only reason she is so awesome. The story of how she came to be a Head Teacher in Romania is pretty unique.
