I’ve done both types of trips and I’ve got to say, I always prefer to be gone for an entire semester and here’s why.
Not all of Mexico is warm and sunny — it actually can get pretty chilly, so don’t forget to pack the right clothes. We’ve got the packing tips you need to make sure you aren’t stuck wearing shorts and sandals in the cold.

Ugh, going through customs and immigration has to be the worst part about traveling…okay, maybe going through customs and immigration AND leaving after a whole semester living in the Caribbean or Africa. Yeah, that’s definitely worse.
