When you’re not teaching or playing with your cute kiddos, here’s how our ILP volunteers spend their free time.
ILP is excited to expand into a new part of the world and offer you two new countries with service opportunities and, of course — tons of adventure! You can now participate in service trips to Central America.
We love how these volunteers from the Dominican Republic decided to help out someone they really loved — Tamaris, the sweet cook!
Lucky ILP Ukraine volunteers - you get to teach some super cute kids who you are going to adore. We want you to get to know the students better so here is a little bit about Volodia who you may teach with your ILP group in Kiev, Ukraine!
If you didn’t know, ILP has two programs: Exchange and Humanitarian. While they do have some similarities (both programs let you give back and make a difference!) there are some differences that can help you figure out what country and what program is going to be the best choice for you.
Just because you’re not interested in teaching English abroad doesn’t mean you can’t volunteer with ILP! Lots of our locations are more like playing with the kids than actually teaching … and we actually have a program where you won’t be teaching at all.
Coming home from a semester with ILP means coming home with lots of pictures, amazing memories with your ILP group and a few more stamps in your passports (and a tiny bit of a broken heart after saying goodbye to your kiddos!). But for one ILP China volunteer, coming back meant teaching professionally — back in Asia!
