We are pretty much in love with Romania but who wouldn’t adore a spot hidden away in the hills that look like a real-life fairytale? They’re unreal … but don’t take my word for it, you’ve got to come see ‘em for yourself.
During your semester living abroad you need to travel and see as much as you can! Volunteering for a semester in Europe will give you plenty of countries to choose from and will be an easy way to visit a lot of those countries. When deciding where to go, remember Paris is never a bad choice! You'll have tons to do in Paris, one of the coolest things being the Catacombs.

No, you're not in Italy when you make it to this cool street with canals and bridges. You're in China! Shantang is a really unique street that has been around for more than 1,100 years. I would definitely spend time walking along and exploring what feels like "real, ancient China".
I mean, unless dreamy beaches and staying in the cutest little hostel sounds awful, then you probably want to visit some place else.
